The King’s Head is a unique venue, perfect for more intimate celebrations with plenty of character to make your wedding celebration truly special.
Located in the centre of Chipping Ongar, The King’s Head function space can accommodate 20 guests for a formal seated wedding breakfast, and up to 30 for a buffet and evening celebration.

Venue Hire
We want to make your big day as special as possible and will be on hand from start to finish to ensure your day is memorable for all the right reasons. One of our team would be happy to help you with any enquiries you have with regards to venue hire, deposits and minimum spend requirements.

Our chefs are dedicated to culinary excellence, and will create unique and sumptuous food, using the best ingredients, for your celebrations. Whether it’s a 3 course Wedding Breakfast, or a buffet for your Reception, we are here to create a package bespoke to your day. From welcome drinks and wines at the table through to the all-important Champagne toast we can help you make the perfect selection from our cellars.
